Who is it aimed for:
Anyone who has a Trustees role within a voluntary or community sector organisation and will need to know how to ensure their safeguarding policies and procedures are robust.
What will I learn:
Anyone who has a Trustees role within a voluntary or community sector organisation will need to know how to ensure their safeguarding policies and procedures are robust. The participant will learn to:
- To provide an up-to-date overview of Safeguarding children and adults, which will better inform your role and responsibilities as trustees/ management committee members.
- To gain knowledge of existing law, policy and procedures in relation to Safeguarding to help ensure your organisation is compliant and current.
- To consolidate and deepen your existing knowledge so that you feel more confident and satisfied with regards to your accountabilities.
- To provide practical advice and guidance to support your organisations with Safeguarding;
