Important – Changes to Early Help Paperwork.

In February 2024 Early Help in Newcastle, along with Children’s Social Care, are moving to a new case management system called Eclipse.

As part of the migration to ‘Eclipse’ we have made some amendments to our Early Help Assessment, Early Help Enquiry forms and TAF review documents, as they are being built into the new case management system. From 2nd January 2024 Early Help will no longer accept previous versions of these documents as they will not be compatible with the new ‘Eclipse’ system.

Up until the end of 2023 we will be reminding practitioners of the January date when they log any old versions of the Early Help Assessment, TAF Review or Early Help Enquiry forms. However, from the New Year we will be returning any out of date versions of documents submitted, to practitioners, and asking them to resubmit using forms found at Early Help – Documents – Newcastle Safeguarding.

To avoid any delays in offering support to families in the city we ask that you help us during this move by deleting any old versions of the documents on your system and only using documentation from Early Help – Documents – Newcastle Safeguarding.
