New Safeguarding Adults Online Referral Form Go Live 05/08/2026

A new online Safeguarding Adults Referral Form will go live on 5th August 2026. This form is for reporting safeguarding adult concerns in Newcastle and can be used by professionals, family members, neighbours, friends or for self-referrals. The form has moved to a new platform and web address. The referral process itself remains unchanged, and the information requested from referrers is largely the same as before.

Action for Organisations

We encourage organisations to:

Update any locally saved bookmarks or favourites. Please note that every time the link is accessed a unique webpage/form is created. In order to create a favourite that creates a blank form each time, you will need to manually edit the URL address for the favourite, using the above link.
Review and update internal procedures, guidance documents and intranet pages that reference the previous referral form link.
Share this update with staff responsible for submitting safeguarding adult concerns.

The online referral form remains the standard route for reporting safeguarding adult concerns.
