The Newcastle Safeguarding Adults Board have published their annual report for 2023-24. The annual report highlights some of the key achievements of the NSAB in the past year, responses to new and emerging issues and the future challenges ahead. The annual report also includes partner agency contributions to safeguarding adults at risk.
As a multi-agency partnership Board, we continue to be ambitious in the priorities we set ourselves for the year ahead, many of which will be taken forward by our conscientious and hard-working sub-committees. Whether it is coordinating SARs, delivering a comprehensive multi-agency training programme, developing new practice guidance, or addressing exploitation, they are an invaluable component of our partnership. Please take the time to read and share this annual report – which clearly demonstrates how the NSAB and our member organisations work diligently, with continued enthusiasm and commitment, to ensure that Newcastle is a safer City for adults at risk of abuse and neglect.
