The NSAB’s Learning and Development Committee have developed a new training tool, designed to be used in Team Meetings.

Safeguarding Adult Team Talks cover a range of different topics linked to safeguarding adults. Some of the first ones to have been produced are:

  • Safeguarding adults at risk who have needs related to
    their drug/alcohol use.
  • Organisational cultures
  • Language, victim-blaming and stigma
  • Safeguarding transition

The Team Talks are available as a pdf or as a PowerPoint to suit different Team Meeting approaches.
The topics that are covered will be added to throughout the year. It is hoped these will help embed learning from core safeguarding adults training and Safeguarding Adult Reviews, as well as assisting with evidencing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
