Adult Exploitation Guidance Updates
Work has been undertaken to review and update two key resources for practitioners around adults at risk of exploitation.
The Adult Exploitation Language Guidance can be used by professionals when discussing or recording information about the exploitation of adults at risk, including when escalating intelligence and delivering training.
The Exploitation Checklist is a tool to make an initial assessment about the level or risk of exploitation. Identifying one critical factor or several vulnerabilities may indicate that the adult is at risk of Modern Slavery / Exploitation / Trafficking. Completed checklists can be used to support onward referral into multi-agency safeguarding adult procedures.
