E-learning now available

After a short transition period to a new provider, the NSAB and NSCP’s e-learning is now available to access, please visit our e-learning page: https://www.newcastlesafeguarding.org.uk/e-learning/

People who work or volunteer with children or adults in Newcastle will be able to access the following courses, free of charge:

  • Safeguarding Adults Level 1
  • Safeguarding Children Level 1
  • Safeguarding Children Level 2
  • Mental Capacity Act Basic Awareness
  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards

Learners will be able to self-register and complete courses at their own pace. All the above courses assess learner competency at the end and are certificated. The e-learning is a part of the wider learning and development offer from the NSAB and NSCP, including Teams Training. The NSAB and NSCP are now also sign-posting people to external e-learning resources which complement the e-learning above. This is externally provided content covering a wide-range of topics including: County Lines, Modern Slavery, Scams, Counter-Terrorism and Female Genital Mutilation.
