Consultations

The NSAB is under a legal duty to develop and publish an annual plan setting out priorities to safeguard adults at risk from abuse and neglect.

Every year the NSAB is required to ask people what should be included in the plan. This includes asking adults with care and support needs, their families and carers the general public and professionals.

Have your say

We begin to think about our priorities in January of each year. There are different ways in which people can give us their views. The short video below explains a little about safeguarding adults and how you can give your views:

Let’s talk

You can contribute via the Lets Talk survey and topic walls. Our current survey and topic wall is open until 30 April 2021 and you can access them at www.letstalknewcastle.co.uk

Email us at anytime

You can email us at anytime with ideas for our annual plan. Some key questions you might want to think about:

  • What are the top three priorities you think Newcastle Safeguarding Adults Board should be concentrating on next year?
  • What are your main concerns about safeguarding adults in Newcastle?
  • Is there anything else you would like to tell us about keeping adults at risk safe in Newcastle?

Attending a group session

We will attend group meetings to ask people what they think. If you organise or attend a group that would like to give feedback, please get in touch with us – safeguardingboards@newcastle.gov.uk
