National Review into the Murder of Arthur Labinjo Hughes and Star Hobson:

This national review was initiated in the context of widespread public distress about the
circumstances of the deaths of Arthur Labinjo Hughes and Star Hobson. The Newcastle Safeguarding Children Partnership delivered a briefing on the report from the National Panel – a recording of this session is available below

We have made available a recording of the briefing session delivered by the NSCP following the review into the murders of Arthur Labinjo Hughes and Start Hobson.

We have also made available a copy of the slides which also contain additional information from the Independent Review of Children’s Social Care

To help practitioners reflect on the learning and how it impacts their practice we have produced a series of questions to use in group supervision or team meetings

The link below will take you to the full report into the murder of Arthur and Star

The National Panel have also produced a video covering their work on the report
